We are always happy to answer any question you might have, but to make things easier for everyone we've compiled a list of the most common questions below. If you have a different question, please contact us and we'll be happy to answer it.

Payment

How can I pay for my order?

We accept most major credit and debit cards such as Visa, Mastercard, Switch, Delta but not American Express. There is space on the order form for your card details. Alternatively, you can send a cheque with your order payable to 'Sock Solutions Ltd.'

Can I email you my payment details with my order?

We recommend that you do not email us any credit card details. Emails are not a secure form of communication. Please call us if you would like to pay by credit card having submitted an email order or alternatively post a cheque to us.

Who should I make the cheque out to?

Cheques should be made payable to 'Sock Solutions Ltd'.

Do your prices include VAT?

Yes. All prices on our site are in pounds sterling and are inclusive of VAT at the current rate. Some products (eg. Children's Catspads) are VAT exempt.

I want my order to be shipped outside of the European Union, do I have to pay extra taxes?

If your order is to be delivered outside the European Union, it may attract import duty and local sales taxes which must be paid upon receipt of the shipment. These rules may vary depending on country and your local government and we have no control over the tax that is paid.

Delivery

How long will it take for my order to arrive?

All our orders are sent using Royal Mail (1st class) (or by the equivalent international postage option). We aim to dispatch orders within 48 hours but please allow 10 working days for delivery in case of delay with postage etc. International orders can take considerably longer to arrive.

I need my order shipped outside the UK, can you do it?

Yes, we have recently introduced international shipping to our online store.

How much does shipping cost?

We have a standard delivery charge of £2.95 P&P for all orders up to £74.99 and free P&P for all orders over £75 for delivery to the UK. Delivery to European Union countries costs £5.00 and £8.00 to the rest of the world regardless of value.

I need to change my delivery address, what do I do?

Please contact us if you need to change any part of your delivery address. It is your responsibility to inform Sock Solutions Ltd. of any change of delivery address.

What if something goes wrong?

Mistakes and problems occasionally arise with orders and we always do our utmost to resolve any problem, but Sock Solutions Ltd. cannot accept liability for delays resulting from occurrences beyond their control. These include, but are not limited to, acts of God, strikes, lockouts and delays by suppliers.

Stock Availability

Do you always have items in stock?

Whilst we hold a vast quantity of stock, some items may be more popular than we predict and go out of stock temporarily. We will always inform you if your order is delayed or out of stock.

Returns & Exchanges

I'm not happy with my order, what can I do?

If for any reason you are not happy with your socks, please return them to us unworn and with their original packaging within 30 days and we will exchange or refund your goods. Please obtain a proof of postage certificate when returning goods to us as we are not responsible for goods whilst in transit from customers. Please note we are not able to refund the original P&P charge for returns and exchanges unless the garment was faulty.

Product Descriptions

We have taken every care to ensure illustrations and descriptions are as accurate as possible when going to press, however slight variations may occur.

Product Care

We recommend that our own label socks are washed in a machine at 30ºC with non-biological powder/liquid. Do not tumble dry. Any other garments that are not our own label (Falke, Johnstons etc.) have their own washing instructions within the garments.
